1. Series and general design

This motor belongs to the ZTP series of special DC motors for railway transport, model ZTP-63D4. Rated power 15 kW, rated voltage 110 V, operating mode S4 (periodic intermittent duty), rated rotation speed 2850 rpm. Designed for auxiliary systems of railway rolling stock, fan and pump drives, adapted to DC power supply and intermittent operation.

2. Cooling type IC01

The IC01 self-inflating system with a built-in fan is used. The fan is driven directly by the motor shaft, the cooling intensity is automatically adjusted depending on the rotation speed. No external fan required. The design is compact, easy to maintain, meets the requirements of miniaturization and high reliability of railway transport equipment.

3. Protection℃IP23

The IP23℃of protection prevents the ingress of solid particles with a diameter of more than 12 mm, and also protects against splashing water at an angle of up to 60 degrees to the vertical. Fully meets the requirements for protection from dust and moisture in the passenger compartment of rolling stock, combines effective heat removal and reliable protection.

4. Mounting version IM B35

Horizontal installation with mounting feet and IEC flange. Mounting on feet or through a flange connection is allowed. The universal design is suitable for various installation options in cramped conditions of rolling stock and ensures high alignment accuracy.

Armature Winding: Rated for 110 VDC, made from high-strength Class F insulated wire. Withstands voltage fluctuations, frequent starting shocks and temperature changes.

Switching system: Optimized commutator and carbon brush design ensures minimal sparking and uniform wear of parts, stable operation at 2850 rpm and extended maintenance intervals.

Stator excitation system: made according to an independent or sequential excitation scheme. It has high starting torque and stable speed control performance, fully meeting the operating parameters of auxiliary equipment.

6. Mechanical characteristics and parameters

Engine weight 179 kg. The body is made of high-strength cast iron or aluminum alloy, has increased rigidity, resistance to vibrations and shock loads when the train is moving. Compact dimensions and low weight allow the unit to be placed in limited space of rolling stock.
