1. Highly reliable, dedicated heavy duty pump design
This motor belongs to the ZDB series of specialized DC motors for industrial pumps, model ZDB-71K. Rated power 30 kW, rated voltage 220 V, operating mode S1 (continuous), rated rotation speed 3000 rpm. Designed specifically to drive pumps in metallurgical, petrochemical and hydraulic systems. Capable of withstanding long-term pulsating loads, continuous operation and shock loads during starts/stops, being a key component, the “heart” of pumping equipment.
2. Self-ventilated cooling system IC01, adapted for conditions without external cooling
The IC01 self-ventilating design is used with a built-in fan driven directly by the motor shaft. Cooling efficiency is automatically adjusted depending on the rotation speed. No external cooling fan is required and the design does not contain unnecessary elements. The engine is directly adapted to installation conditions in pumping stations and workshops without external sources of compressed air/electric power, eliminating additional points of equipment failure and simplifying system configuration.
3. IP rating 23 + cast iron body, resistance to industrial interference
The IP23℃of protection provides protection against industrial dust, oil splashes and light water spray, while maintaining effective ventilation of the windings. The high-strength cast iron housing has high rigidity, absorbs vibrations and shocks during pump operation, reduces the risk of resonance, extends the life of the engine and adapts it to difficult operating conditions in metallurgical and petrochemical shops.
4. IM V1 vertical flange mount for direct pump integration
Vertical flange mounting according to IM V1 standard is used. The flange interface corresponds to the standards of most pumping units, which allows for a direct motor-pump connection. Minimal misalignment and high transmission efficiency eliminate coupling losses and also save horizontal installation space, adapting to the compact vertical layout of pumping and hydraulic stations.
5. High quality electrical insulation and excitation system for stable continuous operation
The armature winding is made of insulating materials of heat resistance class F, capable of withstanding temperature loads and voltage fluctuations during long-term operation at full power. It is highly resistant to aging and corona discharge, ensuring insulation reliability in accordance with the requirements of industrial continuous operation.
The independent excitation system provides stable and adjustable excitation current, sufficient starting torque and smooth speed control characteristics. Adapts to changes in pump load from idle to full load, ensuring stable supply pressure without fluctuations.
An optimized commutation system with high precision carbon brush and commutator selection ensures low sparking and even brush wear at high speeds of 3000 rpm, reducing shutdowns due to commutation problems.
6. Imported bearings and convenient lubrication system to reduce the complexity of maintenance
The front and rear ends are equipped with imported SKF 6310/C3 and 6309/C3 bearings with high radial and axial load capacity, adapted to load fluctuations during pump operation. Supplied with multi-purpose lithium grease and clear addition and maintenance instructions. The bearing chamber design makes it easy to add lubrication on site, extends service intervals and reduces frequent disassembly and repair work.
